National Organizer

As a National Organizer, Haiti STEM Alliance plays a leading role in advancing STEM education across the country through national and international competitions.

Being a National Organizer means we are officially recognized to plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of a competition within Haiti—from outreach and school recruitment to training, mentorship, and the hosting of regional and national events.

We serve as the bridge between global competition platforms and local schools, ensuring that Haitian students have access to world-class opportunities in robotics, coding, and innovation.

Currently, Haiti STEM Alliance serves as the National Organizer for both the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) and the United Nations' Robotics for Good Youth Challenge. This work allows us to empower students from across all 10 departments to compete, learn, and grow—preparing them to be future leaders in science and technology.

World Robot Olympiad

Haiti STEM Alliance has proudly served as the National Organizer for the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in Haiti since 2023. The WRO is a global robotics competition that challenges students to solve real-world problems through creativity, teamwork, and STEM skills. Each year, we work with schools and communities across the country to prepare student teams to compete at both the national and international levels.

AI for Good

In 2025, Pennies for Haiti – Haiti STEM Alliance was selected as the official National Organizer for Haiti in the United Nations’ Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, a global initiative led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as part of the AI for Good platform. This educational robotics competition engages youth worldwide in designing, building, and programming robots that offer practical solutions to real-world challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

As the National Organizer, Haiti STEM Alliance is responsible for planning and hosting the national competition between October 2025 and April 2026, in alignment with ITU’s guidelines. We also oversee team preparation and fundraising to support finalists traveling to represent Haiti at the Grand Finale in Geneva.
